GEMO DEVELOPMENT, spol. s r.o., a member of GEMO Group, announced the completion of the sale of the successful development project, OC FRÝDA which was opened a year ago in Frýdek-Místek.
The successful operation of FRÝDA Shopping Centre in Frýdek-Místek with a current occupancy of 97% was completed at the end of 2015 with its sale to the ZFP Real Estate Fund managed by ZFP Investments, an investment company. Ing. Bohumil Mach, the CEO of GEMO DEVELOPMENT, said about the transaction: “The sale, which was completed only 27 months after the entry of GEMO Group into the project, testifies to the quality of this development project, making a significant contribution to the further strengthening of GEMO’s position on the real estate market and increasing our acquisition ambitions in relation to new interesting development opportunities.”
About the project
The construction of the shopping centre lasted from 11/2013 to 11/2014. The general contractor was GEMO OLOMOUC, spol. s r.o. and the development partners were GEMO DEVELOPMENT and TK Development. The architectural design was prepared by the KRR Architektura and PROJEKTSTUDIO EUCZ studios.
The shopping centre has a leasable area of 15,000 m2 with 69 shopping units on its single floor and 600 parking spaces in the basement. The largest tenants include Billa supermarket, H&M, Sportisimo, New Yorker, Reserved, DM, Orsay and more than 50 other shops.
